Ed Nelson recently installed a DriveAFM at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Akhil Chauhan and Nishat Sultana from the Vora Lab, and Rob Rienstra from the Kermani Lab (left to right) plan on using the DriveAFM to study 2D materials. They are really looking forward to using the DriveAFM to measure the lattice mismatch between layers in a twisted bi-layer (i.e. moiré patterns).
