Nanosurf will be exhibiting at this year's MMC in Manchester - you will find us at booth 605, close to the Learning Zone and Newcomers' Area.
David Morgan, Nanosurf's AFM expert supporting the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, will be present to answer all your questions. Visit our booth to learn about what Nanosurf is working on, and how we can help you resolve your challenges.
Conference - mmc2019 incorporates many smaller meetings bringing together a huge multi-disciplinary community of those working in microscopy and imaging all over the world. This combination of smaller groups and the Congress as a whole means there is the opportunity to network and discuss with those working within and outside of your field as well as a huge range of conference sessions to choose from, allowing you to take your research to the next level.
Poster Village - This area represents the latest research across a wide variety of disciplines. Daily poster sessions give you the chance to discuss research and results with the authors in an informal atmosphere.
Learning Zone - Unique to the mmc series, the Learning Zone is packed full with equipment and experts on hand to provide demonstrations, give advice and answer any questions you may have. It also hosts it’s own daily seminar programme offering introductory talks on a number of techniques including TEM and Digital Microscopy.
Over 100 Exhibiting Companies - The exhibitors, from small start-up companies to industry giants, will have lots on offer. Product demonstrations, advice from those who know the equipment best and even the chance to meet and chat with previous customers. This huge exhibition is a great chance to see all the manufacturers and their products under one roof, ideal if you’re considering a new purchase in the near future or just to be sure you are getting the most from your current set up.
Commercial Workshops - The four commercial workshop areas, each with it’s own daily programme, will hold talks by industry specialists offering tips and advice on existing equipment and software as well as introducing brand new products.

This workshop will provide an advanced in depth introduction to scanning probe microscopy at a level suitable for graduate students who have started using or developing SPM in their own research, and for experienced electron and optical microscopists who would like to know how they could use SPM. The workshop will cover imaging and force measurements in atomic force microscopy, the most ubiquitous form of SPM, with an emphasis on the practical knowledge and tips required for effective application in the areas of material science, energy materials, biomedicine and will be delivered by experienced and renowned practitioners in the respective areas. It will be an opportunity to put your SPM knowledge on a solid footing, as well as to make valuable networking connections. The workshop will include presentations and associated hands on practical demonstrations, supported by SPM instrument manufacturers. There will also be ample opportunity to discuss your specific applications and problems with the expert presenters, and during the conference at the learning zone, so do please bring your data / experimental problems if you would like more specific advice. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the workshop.
