The Flex-FPM system was used for DNA spot fabrication using FluidFM® technology. On these spots fewer than ten copies of DNA biomarkers could be quantified, omitting the necessity of amplification or labelling. The Flex-FPM was a crucial part to obtain reproducibly sized spots.
